Sydney has a rather large aquarium with several underwater exhibits that are located in Darling Harbour - you go down several flights of stairs, under sea level and into underwater glass tunnels. Quite beautiful, although that is something that seems to be getting increasingly common in public aquarium displays.

But the best exhibit is a very large window into a very huge tank, where you can watch the fish live their lives while listening to Saint Saens' Aquarium, from The Carnival of the Animals. Beautiful and extremely appropriate. Now every time I listen to that piece I am transported back in front of that huge bay window...

Not sure about that - I would be somewhat surprised actually since the environment seems quite controlled. But, you never know...
